I really hope the blood of Azeroth is used to bring C'thun back to life. He deserves a comeback. He's the only last boss from the vanilla raids who hasn't come back.
Back then a lot of players did not understand who and what C'thun and the Old Gods really was. Looking back at it, he and the fight were pretty underwhelming compared to Yogg-Saron. I wouldn't be surprised.
When Y'Shaarj was killed by the titans it almost destroyed the whole of Azeroth, that's why the other old gods got imprisoned instead since killing them would definitely destroy Azeroth. So far we've beaten two of them (not counting the heart of Y'Shaarj), but beating them seemed to have almost no consequences to Azeroth. Hence they're probably not dead, and are hopefully making an epic comeback soon.
I'd love to see C'thun and definitely Yogg'Saron both remade into a new fight. Madness will consume us! Комментарий от davesignal on 2017-12-27T11:28:19-06:00 That last image is probably a younger Varian courting Tiffin, his wife-to-be.
Комментарий от Mightylorddk on 2017-12-27T11:46:18-06:00 Queen Tiffin And King Varian initially disliked each other but eventually they became 'inseparable'. So it's impossible for them have such romantic relation before their marriage. Also Varian was never blonde, on the third picture, the guy have blonde long hair much similar to Arthas. The woman in the picture is wearing a blouse and skirt which became trademark garments of Jaina Proudmore. Jaina and Arthas had a warm romantic relation which we can see in this picture (but that nutjob thought they'd be better in their own ways). The guy is wearing a blue Cape. Summing up every points I've mentioned here, this is definitely Arthas and Jaina.
The lion symbol is confusing I know, maybe a mistake? As in background, we can also see buildings with Lordaeron's architecture so it's obviously not in Stormwind. Looking back at it, he and the fight were pretty underwhelming compared to Yogg-Saron. Neither him nor Yogg-Saron are dead. We just beat them back. Y'Shaarj is the only old god that is actually dead. More than likely they are dead. The shadow priest dagger says that it is ironic the weakest of them remain, referring to N'zoth.
And the honor of corrupting Azeroth was always going to be down to just one. Карточка с образцами подписей и оттиска печати образец заполнения. Which is why they warred with each other before the arrival of the titans. The dagger itself is more than likely the last remnant of an old god consumed by the other 4. It would fit the rumors of a 5th old god. And she does say they will pay for what they did to her long ago. I don't know about yogg-saron, but c'thun IS dead, this quest's text ( /cthuns-legacy ) proves it. Also, the reason why killing y'shaarj damaged Azeroth is because this old god, when removed by a titan, left a gap in the earth, which made the planet bleed.
When we killed C'thun, we didn't remove it, so there's no gap, that's why Azeroth didn't suffer back then. Комментарий от Tyrtun on 2017-12-27T13:37:06-06:00 Damn demons cutting onions.
Комментарий от Nymrohd on 2017-12-27T14:06:33-06:00 Now Jaina needs a pet crab to tell Arthas to kiss the girl Комментарий от LadyTannette on 2017-12-27T14:17:58-06:00 It is definitely Jaina and Arthas. Jaina has had a lot of heartbreak and loss in her life.
I hope Blizzard has something sweet planned for her, where she can finally find some measure of happiness. She had so much joy, light, and hope once. To qoute Volazj: They do not die; they do not live. They are outside the cycle.
You stab the head of a literal mountain of flesh, and when it stops moving, you think it is dead. On the contrary, the quest actually says, that Caelestrasz isn't sure that it is destroyed. This is of course all before he grants Cho'gall a little make-over from beyond the grave, so he is still clearly 'there' in some respect. Considering that Yogg-Saron is and how Y'shaarsj could do a lot of damage while being only a heart, I think C'thun has all the chances in the world to make a comeback. Комментарий от Hnsl86 on 2017-12-27T15:18:44-06:00 Jaina was so happy. Комментарий от greenegg on 2017-12-27T16:28:01-06:00 varian and anduins heads look a little off in the first picture.
I wonder what's going to happen with arthas and jaina, just retread ground covered in the arthas novel, or something new? I want to learn more about some of the demon races, but it looks like that's not going to happen in this one.
Комментарий от Gerolanfalan on 2017-12-27T16:46:40-06:00 Study the last picture and it is clear Jaina is the tragic heroine of Warcraft. Due to the various writers at Blizzard Entertainment there was bound to be some conflict about which direction her character arc is heading, while a bit messy her story still fits together. Warcraft 3 could be considered the start of World of Warcraft, as all the major figures from the former played crucial roles in the latter.
While some may see the World of Warcraft experience and story shaped by the player characters, the story of the Warcraft franchise is that of these lore characters. The Titans, Old Gods, and other new aspects introduced in World of Warcraft add on to the world building aspect of the game, but it is from before the start of World of Warcraft pre-existing characters who we truly see the character stories such as Jaina, Sylvanas, Arthas, and Illidan.
There are exception with post Warcraft 3 characters of certain importance like Varian and Garrosh. Turalyon and Alleria have just returned with the newest patch of Legion 7.3, completing and bringing back the key people from Warcraft 2, it will be curious to see where their stories will be headed. Jaina is returning for the next expansion in Battle for Azeroth where I hope she will have character development so the player and fan base can stop saying she's badly written and wrongly assess her as a villain. The same goes for Sylvanas, while extremely villainous commiting wicked actions and possible evil, she is not the antagonist of Warcraft.
All of this could change with how Blizzard writers decide which direction to take these characters, but it seems time for Jaina to come back into the spotlight and show the player base how important she is and re-introduce the great character that is Jaina Proudmoore. Комментарий от ZCGaming on 2017-12-27T18:02:16-06:00 Why are Jaina's feet so horribly rendered? Her feet look two different sizes, her left foot looks appropriately small but too small for the shoe she's wearing, and her right foot looks like a third section of leg next to the single step. Still, I'm glad Blizzard gave her pointy shoes to remind us she's a mage.

Well it seems that blizzard just hates jaina and make her suffer more than a villan, nice blizzard.- in the last picture she looks so happy. And then she loss arthas, lordaeron, her fater, theramore, her apprendice.ect;; hope to see good things happen to her next xpac. QQ Комментарий от Rizbey on 2017-12-27T19:46:58-06:00 I can't be the only one that feels like this art isn't as good as the previous chronicles. The C'thun looks up to the standard I would expect for the chronicles but I feel that the other two do not. They just look off to me.
It's not bad is anyway its just I don't feel it fits or feels the same as the other art featured in the books. Комментарий от kodora1316 on 2017-12-27T23:27:59-06:00.
