The rapper at many parts raping off beat and felt like the instrumental just thrown over there on his voice. I mean the lyrics are fantastic and the quality of the instrumentals are great but they don't bound and the fact that literally 99% of people happy about it makes me feel like i need to check my ears if i'm hear not hearing shit right, because it doesn't fit, at many parts it's like a voice thrown on an instrumental and not going with a flow catching it. Specially the last track.

I'm pretty sure many fans of MF doom will jump on me for this, but it's just my opinion. I ain't throwing other names like 'hey this mofo is better than this' because without a doubt this album is great but not.that. great like i been told. I give this album an 8/10.

Could be 10/10 if the flow was better and match the instrumental than feeling off and not timed which is a huge turn off for me to enjoy this. 4 месяца назад +1 I'm an old golden age Hip hop head who remembers Zev Love X from KMD who guested on the 3rd Bass track The Gas Face and I also had The Black Basterds LP but I drifted away from rap music in 2006 and got into guitar music. Anyway I firmly believe this music will never really leave me and have been gradually listening to bits and pieces recently and have only just discovered that Zeb Love X became MF Doom some years after the tragic loss of his brother Sub-Roc and started recording again. Anyway the kind of sound on this Madvillainy album is SO my kind of thing and I was wondering if any of you MF Doom fans could suggest any of his other albums I should check out? I especially love Hip Hop that uses a lot of Jazz samples.
